(More customer reviews)I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of these bookends. They have great heft for their size and are nicely detailed. I presume that they were cast using a sand casting technique, because there was still a bit of sand stuck to the sides. It's nice to see something with a clear make of human interaction in an age where so much is mass-produced by machines. Anyway, if you like frogs and have books, this is the purchase for you.
